Local operators take real risk every day

Food truck and restaurant owners put real money, long hours, and their reputation on the line to build something that matters. Outbites is for that person who does prep before sunrise, then closes out orders late at night.

Tech changed, but local businesses got left behind

Big brands have teams, budget, and systems built to win discovery and repeat sales. Most independents are stuck piecing together disconnected tools while paying heavy marketplace fees. We built Outbites to close that gap.

How it started

2015

Austin and first build

Joe Scott moved to Austin as a junior developer. Friends at Tommy Want Wingy asked for help with guest notifications.

2016-2019

Knowtifyd takes shape

The first workflow sent guests a text when orders were ready, so they did not have to wait for name callouts at the truck.

2020

Online ordering launch

COVID sped up the first online ordering release. It solved a real pain point, but growth still lagged without better SEO and marketing.

Now

Outbites mission

After early traction with Bobcat Quickie, we rebranded to Outbites and focused on discovery, direct orders, and repeat systems.
